A recent report said that footage from an upcoming Watch Dogs 2 may be shown at this year’s E3. Now pre-orders for the game have been seen at GameStop.
Pre-orders for a Watch Dogs 2 went up on GameStop’s United Kingdom site this moring. The company lists the game for release on PS4 and Xbox One, with an unlisted release date and placeholder box art.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the next installment of the Watch Dogs series would release by March 2017. The company also recently revealed that there won’t be a new Assassin’s Creed game releasing in 2016. A Watch Dogs 2 release this year, would help Ubisoft fill the gap left by the lack of an Assassin’s Creed.
Ubisoft also has titles like For Honor, Ghost Recon Wildlands and South Park: The Fractured But Whole scheduled for release in 2016-17. Another rumor about Watch Dogs 2, may see the game set in San Fransisco.
