Developers iFun4all and Curve Digital have confirmed that their Stealth action game Serial Cleaner is launching first PlayStation 4 on July 11, and then later across Xbox One and Steam, July 14th.
European PlayStation Plus subscribers will have an opportunity to pre-order the game and benefit from a 20% discount later this week. North American subscribers can expect the same bonuses at launch.
Serial Cleaner is a stealth action game set in the 1970s where players clean up murder scenes (some based on real life and movies) and dispose of incriminating evidence while evading the police. The game has players explore, experiment and make swift decisions in order to avoid detection by police. Get caught and you earn a black mark on your protagonist’s career. You must also be wary of the environment as Serial Cleaner uses real-world data to modify levels accordingly with the current time of day in your whereabouts. Noise detection and “sneakability” will vary between night and day, and mean the difference between freedom and jail.
The game had previously been available on Steam as an Early Access tite. Twinfinite’s Sven Boonen previewed Serial Cleaner last year, calling it “morbidly hilarious, looks absolutely incredible and plays very smoothly”.
