Pokemon GO: Where to Find Psychic Type Pokemon

Pokemon GO features a variety of Psychic type Pokemon, ranging from the adorable Slowpoke to the endlessly disturbed Mr. Mime. If you’re looking to grab the Psychic medal, or just construct a team of spoon-bending badasses, here’s where you can find more Psychic types.

Slowpoke, Slowbrow, Drowzee, Hypno, Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, and Mr. Mime are the only available Psychic options right now. Mew and Mewtwo would typically count as well, but it’s likely they’re not yet in the game (though we have some ideas of where Mewtwo may be hiding.)

Mr. Mime is one of the rarest of the bunch, with only a few players reporting to have hatched one from a 10km egg or found one wandering in their town. Slowpoke and Slowbro are more inclined to hang around watery areas, while Abra seems to levitate (hah) towards parks or grassy areas. Keep in mind that Abra, just like in the games, will run away if you don’t catch it on your first attempt. The rest can be found almost anywhere, with higher evolutions like Kadabra proving much harder to stumble across.
