Unlocking and Changing Outfits in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Everyone likes to shake up their fashion every once in a while, and the same goes for the characters in Persona 5. However, as far as we can tell, you can’t actually unlock new outfits within the game itself. Unlike in Persona 4 Golden, where you could purchase outfits from in-game stores or earn them as rewards from side missions, there’s no such feature in Persona 5. If you want to get new clothing in this game, you’re going to have to purchase them as DLC packs. Atlus has already announced a number of costume packs, including outfits from other games like Persona 1, 2, 3, 4, and Catherine. These DLC packs aren’t available for purchase just yet, but they will provide the much-needed variety in clothing you want out of the game.

To change outfits, simply go to the Equip menu, and select the Outfits tab. From here, you can equip whatever clothing you already have on you. As the game progresses and you venture into different seasons of the year, the characters will change their daily clothing to reflect the change in temperature.
