Mediatonic Reiterates Desire to Bring Fall Guys to More Platforms

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Fall Guys has taken the gaming world by storm over the last couple of weeks, launching for free with PlayStation Plus and selling more than two million copies on Steam. Players without access to PS4 and PC are still asking whether the game will come to other systems and Mediatonic has confirmed that they still hope to make the game accessible to more people.

Not long after the game’s reveal, Mediatonic said that they hoped they’d be able to bring the game to systems other than PS4 and PC, but since it’s proving to be so popular, they’ve had people asking the questions once more.

To cover all bases, they posted a tweet to reiterate their plans now that Fall Guys is a proven hit. They said, “Getting lots of questions about platforms – We’ve answered in a few places but once more for everyone: We’re focusing on PC & PS4 right now. We’d love to release on more platforms in future.”

Exactly what platforms that would be and when, we don’t know, but you’d expect it to be consoles like Switch and Xbox One, since they’re the other most popular options. Also, if Fall Guys continues to be popular for the rest of 2020, it would be nice to see the game make its way to next-gen consoles.

Of course, as soon as Devolver Digital or Mediatonic reveal anything about new platfiorms, we’ll be sure to update you.

For now, you can download Fall Guys on PlayStation 4 and Steam. Check out our review and break down of the best levels in the game.
