Fallout 4: How to Get Infinite Caps With This Exploit

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Fallout 4 hasn’t even been out a week and players are already finding hidden areas, funny glitches and now an exploit to get you an infinite amount of caps.

If you’re after so many caps that you could quite literally swim in an ocean of the things, your first going to want to head over to a vendor that sells ammo. Any kind of ammo will do, it doesn’t have to be anything specific. Once you’ve done this, pick one particular ammo type and buy every single bullet of that ammo off the vendor. You may need a fair few caps to do this so make sure you’ve got a good 500 caps on you. Once you’ve got more ammo than you can shake a stick at, sell exactly one bullet of that same ammo back.

Once this has been done you can sell an infinite amount of that ammo without actually seeing your ammo quantity drop. Of course, the number of caps you can walk away with is limited to the amount that the vendor you’re dealing with has on them.

Check out the video tutorial of how to do the infinite caps exploit below.

When you’ve successfully rinsed the vendor of all of their caps, feel free to purchase some of their more expensive goods with your newly acquired wasteland money. If you want to make good use of this exploit, you might want to give this a try sooner rather than later, as Bethesda is more than likely going to patch this in a future update.

Will you be taking advantage of this infinite caps exploit in Fallout 4? Or do you prefer to play it without taking advantage of such things? Let us know in the comments below.
