BO3 Zombies – How to Get the Fumigator and What It’s For

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is back and with it comes the zombie mayhem fans of the series know and love. There are plenty of secrets for players to find strewn about the maps that’ll help you advance through the rounds. One such item is the Fumigator. This can easily be found in the Shadows of Evil map immediately by spawning in, turning completely around to face the gated alleyway (next to one of the windows you can board up), and grabbing it off the brick wall. It’ll be shining there, waiting for you.

What does this do, exactly? Well, once you pick up this item, you’re able to “harvest pods” that appear through the map. These pods provide you power-ups and, in rarer cases, guns. At first, they’ll mostly stick to power-ups once you harvest them, but as rounds progress, they’ll change colors. This lets you know they’re going to give you even better items to aid you in your survival. In the utmost rarest of occasions, you could even get a ray gun to mow down zombies with.

So get out there and harvest those pods! What items and power-ups have you gotten from doing this? Let us know in the comments below!
