The Call of Duty: Black Ops III Xbox One and PC Beta Receives a Date

The PC and Xbox One versions of Black Ops III are getting in on the Beta too.

Activision’s Communication Manager Scott Lowe recently announced the dates for all of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III beta tests. Starting with the PlayStation 4, the Black Ops III beta testing will start on Wednesday, Aug 19 and will run until Sunday, Aug 23.

However, Lowe also revealed that Xbox One and the PC owners will also be able to take part in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III beta testing. Their beta testing will start a week later on Wednesday, August 26 till Sunday, August 30. According to Lowe, the Beta testing will give players a chance to try out the games new “momentum-based, chained movement system,” as well as try out some of the new maps.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III beta testing will be available to anybody who pre-orders the game from  participating retailers, as well as the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Live Store and on Steam. He also revealed that Treyarch will be revealing more information about the Black Ops III beta including what maps and modes will be available in the upcoming weeks.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is due to come out for the Xbox One, the PS4 and the PC on Nov 6 and players can also pre-order the “Juggernog Edition” which will include a Juggernog Mini-Fridge.
