Styx: Master of Shadows Teaser Comes out of the Shadows

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Well, this is surprising. Styx: Master of Shadows has a teaser trailer out and it looks pretty cool. I’m not usually impressed with the random trailers that come to my inbox, but this one has a bitchin’ goblin thief. What’s not to like? Styx: Master of Shadows is being touted as a stealth game with RPG elements. So you’ll have to play in the shadows to get through levels, but you’ll also have the chance to get new abilities or weapons as you gain experience with 6 talent trees to choose from.

You’re goblin named Styx that’s two centuries old and is a master in conniving acts. Pretty deplorable guy you’re playing, man. He’s scaling the massive Tower of Akenash just to find precious things to steal. You’re able to complete levels in any way you choose, but as a small goblin, your best bet will probably be stealth. It also looks beautiful, to boot. No release date as this is just the announcement teaser, but we’ll be on the lookout for this feisty goblin from Cyanide Studios (Pro Cycling Manager, Of Orcs and Men).
