Today’s top pick is the indie RPG Child of Light. Having received overwhelmingly positive user reviews from the Steam community and a 75% price cut to boot, this beautiful, fantasy game is a no brainer.
Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Next up is Hitman Absolution: Elite Edition. Putting you back in the shoes of everyone’s favourite hitman, Agent 47. You’ll help the agent who was betrayed by his agency and now hunted by the police, find redemption in the corrupt and twisted world that we all expect from the Hitman series. The game has received very positive reviews from the Steam community and is currently 80% off taking the price down to $4.99. The Elite Edition also includes 12 lots of DLC, namely a shit ton of weaponry to boost your arsenal. Happy hunting! Check out Hitman Absolution: Elite Edition’s store page here.
Finally, we couldn’t round off our top picks and best deals without the inclusion of one of the best puzzle games of all time, Portal 2. Putting you back in the shoes of the test subject, Portal 2 has a ton more puzzles for you to enjoy, even more comedic commentary and is loved by critics and gamers across the world. If you don’t already own this, you owe it to yourself to spend the $4.99 on it. It’s 75% off after all! Check out Portal 2‘s store page here.
The first of these is This War of Mine. This War of Mine puts the player in a different kind of war survival role, rather than the typical elite soldier on the front-line. Instead players will control a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city, struggling with a lack of food, medicine and under threat of constant danger from the ongoing war. The game provides an experience of war rarely explored in games and has a beautiful visual effect to match. It’s currently 60% off at $7.99, definitely worth a try if you enjoy unique indie experiences. Check out the store page here.
Our other honorable mentions goes to the LEGO franchise. With there being a LEGO game for almost every big movie franchise, it’s hard not to find something you won’t enjoy. Batman, Harry Potter and most recently Jurassic World, all find themselves within this franchise offer with up to 75% off. Jurassic World even gets a huge reduction at 25% off taking it down to only $29.99. If you liked the film, you might as well play through the best bits of all four films in this epic deal. Check out the store page here.
