Watch out, Minecraft! Earlier today, TT Games released a brand new open-world LEGO title called LEGO Worlds onto the Steam Early Access.
Despite being in Steam Early Access, players can already set out and explore a variety of procedurally-generated worlds made up entirely of LEGO pieces. While exploring, players can find new treasures as well as new modes of transportation including cars, horses, and even dragons.
Besides searching for treasure, players can also alter the worlds themselves with a variety of modification tools, or build new structures brick by brick. Once players finish off their creations, they can also export them so that they can be used later on.
On the game’s Steam Page, TT Games has promised that future updates will add “more content, features, and new LEGO play sets.” Here is the game’s description:
LEGO® Worlds is a galaxy of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Explore each World and unlock new discoveries: from cowboys and giraffes to vampires and polar bears, to steamrollers, race cars, and colossal digging machines! Use the multi-tool to shape environments and alter any World to your liking: raise the terrain to create vast mountain ranges, or enter the Brick-by-Brick editor to build anything you can imagine. Save your creations to build with them again. LEGO Worlds enables you to populate your Worlds with many weird and wonderful characters, creatures, models, and driveable vehicles, and then play out your own unique adventures. Probably not worth upsetting the Skeletons though…
So what’s your opinion of LEGO Worlds? Is it the LEGO game you’ve been waiting for? Tell us in the comments below!
LEGO Worlds is now available for purchase on Steam Early Access for $14.99.
