You won’t be able to rest on your throne for much longer Inquisitor because a new Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC called The Descent is coming out next week.

The second piece of Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will see you and your companions descending into the Deep Roads after a mysterious earthquake opened up a new passage. Inside the Deep Roads, you’ll have to find a way to stop both the Darkspawn hordes and the earthquakes before they can threaten all of Thedas. According to the trailer, you’re also going to discover a secret that “will shake the world to its core.” While the DLC will focus on the Darkspawn, it appears that the Rock Wraiths from Dragon Age 2 may also appear, as the end of the trailer shows the Inquisitor being attacked by a large rocky creature.

Unlike the Jaws of Hakkon DLC which was exclusive to the PC and the Xbox One for a time, The Descent will be released for the Xbox One, PS4 and the PC on Aug 11 in North America and Aug 12 in Europe.

Unfortunately for gamers playing Dragon Age: Inquisition on the Xbox 360 and the PS3, Bioware recently announced that they won’t be releasing any more DLC on past generation consoles.

So will you be getting The Descent once it’s released next week? Let us know in the comments below.
