Released on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in November of last year, Never Alone is a very special indie game that is based upon an Alaskan indigenous story that has been passed down from generation to generation. The game was released to a very positive response from both gamers and critics and absolutely nails its goal of trying to capture the spirit of the Alaskan culture.

Fans of the game will be pleased to learn that a new post on the official PlayStation Blog has announced that the game’s first DLC, Never Alone: Foxtales is on its way. The post also reveals that Never Alone will be getting a release on the PS3 and PS Vita.

Never Alone: Foxtales will feature three new levels which are inspired by another Alaskan folktale called ‘The Two Coastal Brothers’. The DLC will feature new environments, new puzzles, characters, ands abilities. The story will focus on two brothers who both have different strengths. One is a great hunter and fighter, whilst the other is a great swimmer. They will have to work together to defeat the main antagonist. The story will also be set during the Arctic Spring, rather than the Winter we saw in the original game. This will allow players to experience new environments and settings and will show a different side to Alaska compared to what we’ve seen already.

Never Alone: Foxtales is due to be released on July 28th and the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game will be available this Fall.
