Since the release of yesterday’s Ill-Gotten Gains: Part Two update, PC gamers have been reporting that the game’s framerate has taken a hit and that their cars have gone missing.

In other cases, cars have almost disappeared entirely only leaving behind the tires like what happened to this user on Reddit. According to comments under the image, reloading the game or entering the vehicles don’t fix the issue, but on the plus side they can still be blown up.

On the Rockstar report page, Rockstar suggests that everybody with missing cars should call their mechanics and see if the missing car was just moved to another garage instead. The reason they suggest this is because Rockstar noticed that some garages were rearranged after the 1.28 update. If players still can’t find their car after calling their mechanic, it is recommended that they submit a request to the Rockstar Support Team.

Rockstar also announced on their report page that they do know about the lower framerate problem that PC gamers have been reporting in both GTA Online and Grand Theft Auto 5 itself and that they’re “looking into these reports now.”

The 1.28 Ill-Gotten Gains: Part Two update added the Coil Brawler off-roader, the Progen T20 sports car, the Vapid Chino sedan and the Dinka Vindicator motorbike to the game, as well as new weapons including a pair of solid gold knuckle dusters and a new radio station called The Lab to all versions of the game.
