The sequel to trippy bloodfest that is Hotline Miami is coming March 10 on PS4, PS Vita, PS4, Windows, Linux, and Mac.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number takes place several years after the events in the first game. Centered on a group of individuals who admired the mayhem caused by Jacket in the first game, the people seek to recreate the Pig Butcher murders once again. All the while, a detective is in pursuit and trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

This sequel promises to ramp up the brutality even more, with new game mechanics that include: dual-wielding, a level-editor, and more! Still nodding your head to the soundtrack of the first game?  Fret not, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number promises to keep you killing to the beat with new tracks from some of the best Outrun artists to date, with M.O.O.N., Scattle, and more making a return.

Trippy plot, hyper-violence, and kickin’ tunes

The game is launching after quite the controversy at an early preview event that left many people with a bad taste in their mouth. The creators over at Dennaton Games have assured fans of the series that this controversy has not changed the game in anyway other than including the option to turn off extreme content.
