The free to play DC Universe based MOBA, Infinite Crisis, recently released a trailer for its newest champion, Hawkgirl. Starting on Jan. 21, players will be able to play as the old school superhero.
Hawkgirl (Shiera Sanders) originally debuted in the 1940s as the companion to archeologist turned Hawkman, Carter Hall. Although her identity has changed a few times over the years, she has remained a DC staple as an on and off again member of the Justice League. Recently, Hawkgirl was rebooted alongside Hawkman in 2011 when DC launched its The New 52 series.
Her abilities in Infinite Crisis seem to gear her towards a hyper offensive style, staying more effective the more she is involved in battles. She can also break free of slowing effects with her soar ability. Check out the trailer above to get the full scoop.
