September 1 saw the long awaited release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and with it came huge critical acclaim for the series’ fated end. In the days leading up to the release, and then throughout the launch week, fans have been uploading their own artistic recreations of Snake and some of the title’s other popular characters.

Be it beautiful black and white sketches like shmit_lord‘s, or one of the most impressive examples of a fan-made sculpture thanks to Chepashov_Alex, it is clear that all of these fan’s have two things in common: a passion for Metal Gear Solid V, and an incredible artistic talent.
