Bloodstained is “a gothic, exploration-focused, action platformer” that was announced yesterday afternoon and asked for $500,000. With that, the game would be able to be released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. But by the end of the day, whether by the names attached to it (Michiru Yamane was a principal composer for a large number of the Castlevania titles and Super Smash Bros, and Ippo Yamada has nearly a dozen Mega Man games to his credits as sound designer) , the concept video, the return of David Hayter’s voice acting, or just to spite Konami, the game made its $500,000 goal quickly. At time of publication, the funding has reached $1,020,040, and there’s 31 days to go. Who knows how much they can get up to when it’s over.
