When Ubisoft came out with their apology for Assassin’s Creed Unity and announced that they would be redeeming their mistakes with the new Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, fans everywhere were excited.
After the tremendous letdown of Ubisoft’s previous Assassin’s Creed game, some fans find that their excitement is blocked by a thick veil of skepticism.
As the old saying goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Gamers certainly don’t want to be duped again by unfulfilled Assassin’s Creed Syndicate promises made by Ubisoft. That being said, not every company makes a public apology to the community for their mistakes.
The fact that Ubisoft has taken the time to apologize says a lot. It says that they’ve listened to the community’s feedback, are aware that if they mess up now they could lose fans forever, and are boldly accepting the challenge of delivering everything that players deserve and have asked for with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
As part of their E3 presentation comes an Assassin’s Creed trailer showcasing some beautiful visuals and cutscenes from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. In the game, which takes place in 1868 London during the industrial revolution, siblings Jacob and Evie Frye seek to take the control of London away from the greedy and corrupt in order to restore balance and give freedom to the people.
At present, the game can be played at the E3 Ubisoft booth as well as at the U-Play Lounge in L.A. and in seven cities across Europe and Australia. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set to be released for public purchase on October 23, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
