Acclaimed voice actress Ashley Johnson, who is best known for her role as Ellie in The Last of Us, has signed on to be part of TellTale’s Tales from the Borderlands episodic game series.
The news was first announced by TellTale’s Laura Perusco who announced the news on Twitter, saying:
Confirmed. @BAFTA winning @TheVulcanSalute has joined the cast of 'Tales from the @Borderlands'! Spoiler Alert: She's amazing. Show, stolen!

Ashley Johnson herself then confirmed the news on Twitter.

TellTale’s Communications Lead Job Stauffer discussed Johnson’s role, saying: “Without giving anything away, just know that she plays a *very* core character, episode 3 is bananas!”
Johnson has quickly become one of the most well known voice actresses in the business and rightly so. For her role as Ellie in The Last of Us, Johnson won the 2013 VGX Award for Best Voice Actress and then went on to win two BAFTA’s, one for The Last of Us and another for the Left Behind DLC which focused on her character Ellie.
We can’t wait to download episode three of Tales from the Borderlands and hear her in action.
