The trailer is a beautiful story of a pilot and his titan fighting through hectic, high-stakes battles. The pilot is shown running along trees, kicking off the trunk and launching into the outstretched hand of his Titan, quickly taking control of the monstrous mech. More enemy Titans drop into the forest, kicking up dirt and bringing trees crashing into the ground.

It’s more of a tone piece than anything, showing the strength of the Titans and the agility of the pilots. It also makes it clear that your titan is much more than just a weapon in Titanfall 2; they’re your companion. It also sets the stage for what is sure to be a very intense shooter, no matter which mode you hop into.

Titanfall 2 will feature a single-player campaign in addition to its suite of multiplayer modes, something the original game was missing. It will delve into the unlikely partnership of a soldier and a titan who has taken him as his new pilot. There will be plenty of wall running, alien enemies, and enemy titans to gun down, both on the ground and in the sky.

Titanfall 2 releases October 28, 2016, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
