Just as the world of Fortnite emerged from the abyss, it’s being plunged back into a world of darkness with another Fortnitemares event. To celebrate Halloween, Epic is transforming the landscape into something infinitely more creepy, and there are sorts of devilishly cool events to get stuck into.
Here we’re going to breakdown everything new that’s been added in Fortnitemares Patch 11.10, so let’s kick things off.
First up let’s take a look at the most gruesome new addition to the game: the hulking Storm King, a PvE event that tasks you with taking down a monstrous beast hellbent on destroying the entire island.
Players can team up with their buddies to take him on, and doing so will reward you with a special umbrella.
Next, we have the gunfight mode, a community-made event by BlueDrive in which players are dropped into a fast-paced 2v2 game over multiple rounds.
The Combine has also been given a ghastly makeover, too, with a new themed challenge you can compete for the fastest time over.
Fortnitemares isn’t just about gameplay content. There’s also a nifty quality of life improvement with Patch 11.10 that allows players to give their buddies a nickname, which should make them much easier to find moving forward even if they change their account name.
Lastly, it wouldn’t be a Fortnite event with a bunch of cool cosmetics and Fortnitemares doesn’t let us down.
A Zombie Soccer Outfit and Storm King Fist Pickaxe are on offer. There’s also the Cryptic Curse Bundle that features, which features the Wrath Outfit and Time Keeper Back Bling and can be upgraded with different style options by completing special challenges.
If you’re intent on going all-in with a Fortnitemares aesthetic then there’s the Final Reckoning Pack, which includes the mortifying Catrina Outfit, the Mourning Glory Back Bling, the eerie Willow Outfit, Dolly Back Bling, the ominous Blacklight Outfit, and Indigo Wings Back Bling.Â
