Zero Escape: The Nonary Games – Saving Your Game
With two text-heavy visual novels packed into The Nonary Games, you’ll want to save your progress at some point so you don’t have to read through chunks of text again to get back to where you were. The cool thing about both 999 and Virtue’s Last Reward is that you can save your game anywhere without worrying about locating save points either. While the original 3DS release of Virtue’s Last Reward had a nasty bug where your save file would get corrupted if you saved your game inside a puzzle room, we’re pleased to report that the issue doesn’t seem to be present in The Nonary Games. At least not in the PC version.
To save your game, simply press the Options button (on PS4) or the Back button (if you’re using the Xbox gamepad) to bring up a menu bar at the bottom of your screen. Choose the ‘Save’ option, and you’ll be prompted to choose a save slot. Once you’ve picked a slot, save your game there, and you can either continue playing or quit out of the game altogether.
