Into the Badlands is an action series that’s based on the 16th century novel, Journey to the West, by Chinese author Wu Cheng’en. The plot follows a warrior and a young boy who set off on a perilous journey together with the hopes of achieving enlightenment. The series is set 500 years after a war that destroyed civilization, taking place in a post-apocalyptic world. That being said, some fans might be wondering where Into the Badlands is filmed.

Most of the first season was filmed around New Orleans and Louisiana. The first season was also headquartered at the St. John Center Soundstage. Here are some of the landmarks they filmed at:
