The Sims 4 Parenthood: How to Raise and Lower Conflict Resolution Easily

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

The Sims 4: Parenthood allows your sim children to be shaped right into adulthood with all new traits. These require the pre-requisite of maxing out the Character Value associated with the trait prior to them aging into Young Adult. Conflict Resolution is one of the five character values that your sim parent can instill into their children. Maxing it out positively leads to the Mediator trait, and negatively will cause your sim to be Argumentative.

Raising Conflict Resolution

Here are the ways in which you can raise your conflict resolution:

  • Apologize, Smooth Recovery
  • Having a parent”Teach to Say Sorry”
  • Selecting certain Teachable Moments options
  • Selecting certain options during Volunteering or School opportunities
  • Reconciling with bad relationships

The fastest one of these methods is of course to just have your sim parent constantly teaching their child to say sorry.

Lowering Conflict Resolution

Lowering your conflict resolution is a lot easier than raising it, it turns out:

  • Fighting and arguing
  • Declaring enemies
  • Selecting certain Teachable Moments options
  • Selecting certain options during Volunteering or School opportunities

Fighting and arguing is the easiest of these methods as you can do it over and over again so long as you have a punching bag of a sim to do it to.
