Is The Evil Within 2 PS4 Pro Compatible?

Recommended Videos

The Evil Within 2 guides players through a nightmarish world filled with horrifying creatures that want to do nothing more than eat your face. It’s a tough life for Sebastian, but it’s your duty to keep him alive throughout the adventure and help him save his daughter, Lily. Of course, with all of the creepy monsters and eerie environments you’ll be exploring, many have been wondering if The Evil Within 2 makes use of the PS4 Pro’s extra power to really up the immersion.

Unfortunately, it seems like The Evil Within 2 isn’t PS4 Pro compatible. The official page on the PlayStation site for the game makes no mention of PS4 Pro compatibility, and there has been no mention of it prior to the game’s release, either. If the system does make use of the added power of the system, it’s not capable of displaying in 4K as the resolution is also listed as being only 1080p on the page.

This may come as disappointing news to PS4 Pro owners, but following the problematic implementation of Pro support for Bethesda’s Prey earlier this year, they may just be erring on the side of caution for now.
