How to Get and Ride the Moped in Super Mario Odyssey

Recommended Videos

Super Mario Odyssey takes our favorite mustachioed plumber to new destinations with hundreds of power moons to collect. With the help of his trusty friend Cappy, the two of them work together to stop Bowser from marrying Princess Peach, because that’s just totally wrong. In Super Mario Odyssey, you’ll be able to wander about a whole bunch of different kingdoms that vary from a wooded forest to an aquatic paradise. With Cappy’s power, you can capture your enemies and even some objects. However, there’s also a moped in Super Mario Odyssey you can ride around on without the powers of Cappy.

One of the later kingdoms in Super Mario Odyssey that you will eventually get to go to with the help of the power moons even has an awesome moped that you can get on and ride about. This kingdom is the Metro Kingdom in New Donk City to be exact. You’ll first find the moped as soon as you enter the kingdom. You’ll see Mayor Pauline with some men and suits, and past her will be an electric wire for Mario to possess. Once you get on that wire and head on down to the first area with enemies, the moped will be right in that area – you can’t miss it, it’s yellow and you can just ride on it without using Cappy’s ability. With the moped, there are only two things that you can do: accelerate and jump. You can hit enemies while riding on the moped and also break boxes.
