Super Mario Odyssey is keeping our love of a fashionable Mario alive with tons of different outfits to sport while venturing through different kingdoms. The franchise’s iconic front man spends a lot of time in his usual ensemble of denim overalls and a red shirt but he has recently become quite the fan of a good outfit change. In Super Mario Odyssey, players will have the option to purchase a variety of different outfits at Crazy Cap stores and you’re actually encouraged to do so. While some of these outfits are strictly cosmetic, others come with special attributes that you’ll need to utilize to make it through the game. Fortunately, unlocking new clothing in Super Mario Odyssey is pretty straightforward. There won’t be tons of secrets to discover or odd requirements standing between you and a new outfit. In order to get new outfits, you’ll just need to make your way to the kingdom that corresponds to that outfit. Keep in mind that some kingdoms will have multiple outfits and caps on sale at their Crazy Cap stores while others may only have one new outfit up for purchase. Keep in mind that there are two types of in game currency available in Super Mario Odyssey. Gold coins are a common currency that can be used anywhere in the game while the purple coins will actually be specific to one level.
