Stray: All Notebook Locations

Say I'm a Cat!

After you have met with Momo and he has mentioned the Outsiders who decided to leave The Slums and attempt to venture beyond the city walls, you’ll then be tasked with tracking down each of their notebooks. If you’re struggling to find them, here’s a guide covering where to find all Stray Notebooks in the Slums area of the city.

The first thing you should know about this particular challenge is that all the locations are marked with a blue symbol, and all four are found on the upper flats you will access by scaling the rooftops of the buildings below. You can actually see all four locations from Momo’s flat.

Momo’s Notebook Location

The first Notebook location is more or less unmissable as it’s Momo’s and is found in his flat. Once you’ve spoken to him in his flat, you’ll be given it, which then prompts you to go ahead and find the other three.

Zbaltar’s Notebook is perhaps the least obvious Notebook to find. It’s directly west of Momo’s flat if you’re looking out from their balcony, but Zbaltar’s flat is locked and so the only way to access it is by accessing the ventilation shaft on the roof. Climb up onto the roof, pull the battery out of the terminal, and then drop through the ventilation shaft.

Once inside, the Notebook itself is hidden within a shoebox. You just need to knock it down to the floor to reveal it.

Doc’s Notebook Location

Doc’s Notebook is found in his library, which is to the east of Momo’s flat if you’re standing on his balcony looking out. You’ll know you’re nearby when you see a television set and sofa on a nearby rooftop.

Once you’re there, explore the rear of the library and find the room partially blocked by towers of books. Slink past them or jump over the top and read the note, which will reference a safe and reward you with keys to open the safe. The safe is located nearby, behind a stack of books, and set within one of the library’s shelves, as you can see in the image above.

Clementine’s Notebook Location

Now it’s time to find the final notebook, which is actually one you might have found second since it’s directly opposite Momo’s flat and is pointed out by B12 when you leave his flat for the first time. Just zipline across from his flat and keep going towards the big symbol.

Clementine’s Notebook is in the backroom of the flat by the computer.

That does it for all Notebook Locations in Stray. With all of them in your inventory, you can now return to Momo and prompt the next phase of the game’s story.
