Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town: How to Get Solid Lumber

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is out on the Nintendo Switch and brings another dose of farming action to the hybrid console. As part of your agricultural rise to the top, you’ll need to use various materials to build new structures and items to further bolster your profits. Solid Lumber is one such material in Pioneers of Olive Town, and while it’s not difficult to get when you know where to get it from, it can be a little confusing towards the beginning of the game.

How to Get Solid Lumber in Story of Season: Pioneers of Olive Town

To get Solid Lumber, you’ll first need to repair the bridge on your farmland to access the second area.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll find the pine style of tree that grows here. We’ve grabbed a screenshot of what they look like below:

Now all you need to do is chop these trees down. Keep in mind that these are tougher to chop through than the standard trees, but upgrading your axe at the Tool Shop will reduce the time it takes to chop them down as well as the amount of stamina consumed.

Each of these trees will give you between 4-7 Solid Logs. Now put three Solid Logs in a Lumber Maker, wait four in-game hours and you’ll get one Solid Lumber.

That’s everything you need to know to get yourself that Solid Lumber so you can continue growing your farm in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. For more on the game, be sure to check out more of our coverage below.
