Getting More Haircuts and Hairstyles in Splatoon 2

Recommended Videos

At the start of the game, Splatoon 2 allows you to create you inkling by choosing his or her outfits and hairstyles. There are four different presets to choose from, and you can even change it up whenever you feel like it. To do this, press the + button on your Switch, and go to the rightmost tab. Within this menu, you’ll see a Style option which lets you change your inkling’s hair and pants.

However, if you’re hoping to unlock even more haircuts, you’re out of luck. There aren’t any other options that you can unlock outside of the four presets, so you’re stuck with what you’ve got. You can also opt to remake your inkling and change them to a different gender, and this will give you access to the four presets for that particular gender. Unfortunately, there’s no way you can get male haircuts on a female inkling, and vice versa. At least you have more options for clothing though.

More About Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 is the follow-up to Splatoon, the inky shooter game released on the Wii U two years ago. Take control of a kid, splat your enemies with ink, and transform into a squid whenever you feel like it.
