How to Heal & Recover Health in Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider is back for another installation in the popular rebooted series, and this latest adventure has Lara Croft travel to the exotic South American setting of Peru. After unwittingly setting into motion a series of cataclysmic events, she’ll seek to make amends in a journey that takes her into contact with an isolated tribe who find themselves under the clutches of the dubious Trinity organization. Her mission sees her battle against Trinity militants, dangerous cultist tribesman, and plenty of deadly animals. As you’d imagine, all that combat leads to some close calls, so you’re going to need to know how to heal and recover health in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
To heal, simply hold L1 and then hold X (corresponding buttons on Xbox would be left bumper and hold A). It’s important to note that healing isn’t an instantaneous process; healing takes a second or so to complete as Lara wraps a bandage over her wounds. For that reason, make sure you’re standing as far away from danger as you can before doing so. Furthermore, when the combat gets intense, Lara isn’t able to withstand too much damage, so don’t get too cocky with waiting for auto-recovery.
Before you even attempt to heal in Shadow of the Tomb Raider you’ll need to make sure you have collected the required resources to actually craft bandages. Make sure you always stop off at medicine bushes (scattered generously throughout the game) and replenish your supplies. In fact, the same goes for virtually every material in the game.
That’s all you need to know about how to heal and recover health in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. For more useful information, guides, and tips on the game be sure to check out Twinfinite’s wiki page.
