How to Redeem Pre-Order DLC & Beta Items in Sea of Thieves

Explore the high seas as a pirate in the multiplayer adventure game, Sea of Thieves. Those who have pre-ordered the game will get a nice, little bonus that they can redeem in the game. One particular bonus was access to the closed beta, which took place in January. On top of that, you’ll also get some really cool DLC items if you took part in the beta.

If you’re playing on PC, you won’t have to worry about using any codes to redeem your pre-order DLC if you’ve pre-ordered from the Microsoft Store. If you download the game, the Black Dog pre-order pack should show up in your “Ready to Install” section under Game Management. On the other hand, you will have to claim your redeem code here if you’ve pre-ordered the game from another retailer.

The same process goes for those playing Sea of Thieves on Xbox One. If you’ve pre-ordered on the Xbox Store, the DLC should be included in your game library. If you have a DLC code, you can claim it through the “Use a Code” portion on the menu screen.
