How to Buy Sea of Thieves on PC

Recommended Videos

Much like many of Microsoft’s Xbox One console exclusive titles, Sea of Thieves is a Play Anywhere title, meaning it can be played on PC, as well as console. Downloading it to your PC, however, isn’t as simple as it is if you’re playing on Xbox One.

If you want to buy Sea of Thieves on PC, the first thing you’ll need to do is head to the Microsoft Store. Then, you’ll need to type ‘Sea of Thieves’ into the search bar at the top right of the page. You’ll then be able to click on the game to go to its page. You’ll then see the ‘Buy’ or ‘Get Xbox Game Pass’ options. The former will allow you to buy it outright and own it forever, and pressing it will see you charged and the game begin to install, while the latter will prompt you to pay for the monthly subscription service (or get the 14-day free trial) and you’ll be able to play the game until you’re no longer a subscriber. If you’ve already purchased the game on Xbox One, or are already an Xbox Game pass subscriber, you should be able to download it quickly using the same buttons, but without the need to pay again. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a quick shortcut, you can click the link to the Microsoft Store above to go straight to the game’s page.

That’s all you need to know about buying Sea of Thieves on PC. For more on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide.
