How to Get Message in a Bottle in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

In Sea of Thieves, you play as a pirate, exploring islands and sailing the high seas. There’s plenty of things to see that you’d associate with the world of pirating and desert islands, from treasure maps to a message in a bottle. The latter of those two can be quite tough to find, but here’s everything you need to know about getting your hooks on them.

Bottles with messages inside can be found randomly on beaches of islands. If you keep an eye out for a bright light in the sand, you’ll probably find one. Once you find the light on a beach, head over to it and interact with it to get whatever is inside. You could be rewarded with a treasure map, allowing you to head out to find some of the riches hidden around the world, a riddle map, or a bounty map. Each of them will lead to somewhere to find something important.

That is all you need to know about finding a message in a bottle in Sea of Thieves. For more tips and tricks on the game, check out our extensive wiki guide.
