How to Get the Drum in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Sea of Thieves has just gotten its first expansion, The Hungering Deep, which adds a new quest to the game. You’re tasked with discovering just what exactly lies deep within the murky waters, but you aren’t alone. You’ll be getting some help from an unlucky pirate named “Merry” Merrick who’ll give you some tips along the way. One vital item you’ll need on this mission is the drum, and here’s where you can find it.

The musical instrument is gifted to you later on in the game after you’ve cleared through the other requirements. Once you’ve reached the island near the Shark Tooth Key, you’ll stumble a journal which contains the final clue you’ll need for the quest. With that out of the way, travel back to Merrick, who has something that you’ll need. Speak with him and he’ll give you the third musical instrument, which is, you guessed it, the drum.

The quest should be nearly finished once you’ve nabbed the drum. You’ll have to go over to the “infernal ridge” on your map where you can summon the final boss.
