How to Raise Morale and What it Does in Sakura Wars

To put it simply, Morale is a mechanic in Sakura Wars which is impacted by the Trust level you have with each main character and how well you’re doing in a given combat mission.

The higher your Trust is with the character or characters you take into battle, the higher your Morale will be when you enter a combat mission. It can then be raised higher for every successful kill or dodge you pull off, and the higher your Morale is, the more your attack and health will be increased.

This can drastically increase the ease of missions, especially in later levels. The boosts offered to your stats from Morale can turn near-instant death attacks from enemies tank-able, and can keep your allies alive when they’d otherwise be knocked out of the fight.

What Causes Morale to Decrease?

However, there are limitations and restrictions in place on the mechanic. You can only raise your Morale to a rank of 10 before it won’t increase any more, and taking damage from enemies can decrease your rank quickly if you’re not careful.

Likewise, if you have a low level of Trust with the characters you go into battle with, then you’ll enter battle with a lower Morale level and will have a more difficult time raising it throughout the course of the mission.

That’ all there is to know about how to raise Morale and what it does in Sakura Wars. For more on the game, check out some of its trailers covering the variety of demonic enemies as well as a behind the scenes look at the character designs and their artists.
