During the tutorial section of Sable, you’ll be given the Navigator. This is a compass-looking item that allows Sable to check where objective markers are in relation to her location, and also allows you to place your own waypoints in your surroundings to help you keep track of any points of interest you spot while exploring the great unknown on your bike. Once you’ve placed them, though, you may be wondering exactly what you’re supposed to do in order to get rid of them. Here’s how to remove navigator and map markers in Sable.
While the default method of removing navigator waypoints is to simply travel to them and drive or run through them, there is a simpler way if you don’t want to be so precise with your movements.
Removing Navigator Markers
To remove map markers in Sable, open the menu by pressing the View button on the Xbox controller or Esc on PC. From here, tab over to the ‘Map’ menu and you’ll now be able to see the world map — or the sections you’ve purchased from a Cartographer so far.
Now all you need to do is use your mouse or the left analog stick to select the waypoint marker and press A or left-click on it.
This should now remove it from your map, allowing you to continue on without having your Navigator cluttered with tons of markers leading you to nowhere… or just places you’ve already been.
That’s everything you need to know on how to remove navigator and map markers in Sable. For more tips, tricks and guides, be sure to search for Twinfinite or see more of our coverage on the game below.
