Red Dead Redemption 2 offers players the opportunity to practice their angling skills by catching 14 different legendary fish. Some of them aren’t easy to find or catch, though, so here’s the Steelhead Trout location in Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Steelhead Trout can be found in the very northeast corner of the map, right up against the limit of the playable map on a stretch of the Kamassa River. The area is called the Roanoke Valley, and you’ll basically want to go as far north and as close to the thick black border on the edge of the map as possible.

To catch the Steelhead Trout, we recommend using a special river lure. Expect a long battle, as these animals can be as heavy as 30 pounds.

It shouldn’t be too tricky if you’ve already had practice catching other legendary fish, but essentially you’ll want to be careful not to reel the fish in too quickly.
