How to Brush Your Horse in Red Dead Online

Just as you did in Red Dead Redemption 2, then, it’s important that you brush your horse, pet it, feed it, and generally take good care of it if in order to boost its stats and increase your bond. Here’s how to brush your horse in Red Dead Online.
No, no, it’s not the exact same as it was in Red Dead Redemption 2. Well, not quite. You won’t just be given the horse brush in Red Dead Online. First, you’ll need to make your way through the fairly lengthy tutorial and make it into the Free Roam section of the game.
Once you’re free to do as you wish, you’ll want to return to any of the stables on Red Dead Online’s map. The closest one to your initial camp is likely going to be the one by Valentine, so head there and walk your horse into the stables.
To get the horse brush in Red Dead Online, select the Horse Provisions option from the menu in the stables. Scroll right down to the bottom of the list and you’ll find the Horse Brush listed for $3.50. Press A on Xbox One or X on PS4 in order to purchase the Horse Brush as long as you’ve got the cash, and it’s all yours.
Now that you’ve got the horse brush, you’re ready to brush your horse in Red Dead Online. Simply stand next to your horse and press LT on Xbox One or L2 on PS4. You should now see the option to ‘Brush’ your horse is in white now, rather than greyed out. Press left on the d-pad on both consoles, and your character will brush your horse, cleaning it up and fixing its depleting health core issues in the process.
After your antics in the tutorial, you should have enough cash on you to get the brush, but if not, carry on completing stranger missions, main missions, or doing whatever you like in order to get some money together.
