HOW TO AIM DOWN SIGHTS ON THE XBOX ONE VERSION OF PUBG
After a hugely successful year in Early Access over on PC, PUBG has finally made its way over to console as an Xbox One exclusive. Although the game is virtually identical to its PC counterpart, there are obviously a few control differences with the console version given that it uses a gamepad layout. That includes how you’ll aim down sights on Xbox One.
Without question, one of the most important aspects of PUBG is quickly memorizing the control scheme, especially in regards to aiming and shooting. Quickly bringing up your iron sights and putting accurate shots down range is critical in the heat of battle. In order to aim down sights on the Xbox One version of PUBG, simply tap the left trigger. If you have a scope attached, this will activate it — use the directional up/down buttons to adjust your range. To exit out of the aim down sights view, simply tap the left trigger again.
Notably, holding down the left trigger while in third-person mode will zoom the camera in and steady your aim slightly. Clicking the left or right stick, whether you’re in first or third-person, allows you to lean left or right. But in third-person, that also selects what shoulder you’re looking over when you zoom in.
That’s all the information you’ll need to aim down sights in PUBG Xbox One. For more information on the game, check out our ever-expanding wiki page.
