Is PUBG Only for Xbox One X?

Recommended Videos

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has finally arrived on the Xbox One, and many players are eager to jump into the battle royale action. However, as Xbox players around the world go to grab PUBG from the online store, some players are wondering if the game is only available for the Xbox One X.

Well, let us shed some light on this for you. PUBG isn’t only for Xbox One X. This means that whether you’ve got an original Xbox One, an Xbox One S, or the new 4K system, you’ll be able to play the popular shooter.

The experience is ever so slightly different on the One X, however. Though the game is part of the Xbox Preview program and thus a little rough around the edges, Xbox One X owners will be able to play the game in HDR, with a number of other smaller graphical enhancements being made, too. These won’t give One X owners any major advantage over those playing on a One S or original Xbox One, though, so don’t let this bother you too much.

That’s all you need to know regarding whether or not PUBG is only for the Xbox One X. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
