Getting to the Hardware Labs in Prey

Recommended Videos

Very early on in Prey, you’ll be tasked with going to the Hardware Labs. After finding Morgan’s office and having Alex cut you off from the Looking Glass servers, January will suggest going to the Labs to see if you can find a way back into the system.

Before leaving Morgan’s office, look at your desk, and pick up the Teleconferencing keycard right next to the computer. Leave the office, and cross the short hallway that leads to the Teleconferencing Center. You can use the keycard to access this area. Be careful of the Mimics lying in wait for you there. Dispose of them, then check the corpse on the ground for the Silenced Pistol. Keep right and follow your marker, and you’ll eventually find a large doorway that leads you to the Hardware Labs.

Once inside, you’ll have to deal with corrupted Operators, Mimics, and find a way to get to Dr. Calvino’s workshop, which is located deep inside the labs. Just move through the area carefully, and don’t try to fight more than one enemy at any point in time.

That’s all you need to know to get to the Hardware Labs in Prey. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-expanding wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on Prey.
