Are There New Alola Forms in Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

Recommended Videos

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon take players back to the Alola region from last year’s releases, albeit with a few new features and other minor additions. Of course, with them being the enhanced versions, there’s a handful of new ‘mon that didn’t show up in the original Sun and Moon. With Alola forms being one of the major changes that came in 2016’s releases, a number of fans are wondering if there are now Alola forms in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Unfortunately, while there are new Pokemon for you to catch in these new versions, there are no new Alola forms. Instead, there are new Necrozma-form Pokemon and three new Ultra Beasts. You can check out the full lists of exclusive Pokemon and legendaries in both titles here for Ultra Moon, and here for Ultra Sun.

If you act fast enough, you can also download a special Rockruff via the Wi-Fi Mystery Gift option that’ll evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc. This is the only way you can get this form of Lycanroc, so make sure you act fast, as you’ve only got until Jan. 10, 2018.

And there’s your answer to whether or not there are any new Alola forms in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. For more on the game, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
