Pokemon Sword & Shield’s Crown Tundra DLC has just arrived, and it brings an absolute ton of legendary Pokemon to the titles. Given there were barely any legendary Pokemon in the base game, this is a welcome addition for fans. In your attempts to catch each of the Regis, you’ll need to solve some puzzles, or riddles. In this guide, we’ll talk you through the “Let Ring the Piercing Note” puzzle so you can catch Registeel in Pokemon Sword & Shield.
How to “Let Ring the Piercing Note”
Once you’ve found the Iron Ruins, you’ll find some instructions on the doors. They read: “Let ring the piercing note that will wake the giant of steel.”
Obviously, the giant of steel is Registeel, but how do you ring the piercing note?
The good news is you don’t need to go on a fetch quest, all you need to do is stand in front of the doors to the Iron Ruins and whistle, by pressing down on the left analog stick.
Your character will then let out a short whistle, which will cause the doors to open.
Once inside the Iron Ruins, you’ll have one final puzzle to solve. All you need to do is make sure the circles on the ground light up in the same pattern that’s shown on the golem in the center of the room.
Do this and the statue will light up. Press A when stood next to it to trigger the battle with Registeel.
