How to Get Porygon in Pokemon Let’s Go
Just as any other Pokemon game is, the new Pokemon Let’s Go titles are all about trying to catch them all. However, some are significantly harder to find and catch than others. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Porygon in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.
Where to Catch
There is only one place that you’ll be able to catch Porygon in the wild. If you head to Route 7, in the grassy area that’s on the Celadon City side of the tunnel between that town and Lavender Town. It’s also just above the building that lets you pass between Celadon and Saffron once you give the guard some tea.
Porygon is a rare spawn here, but wander around for long enough, or pop a lure or two, and one might spawn between all of the Pidgey, Raticate, and Growlithe. Also, since this is the only place that you can catch Porygon in Pokemon Let’s Go, it is where you will need to go to get a Porygon catch chain to try and get the shiny variant. You’ll be there a long time, though.
Where to Get
The other sure-fire way that you can get Porygon in Pokemon Let’s Go is from the Celadon City Game Corner. Once you get the coin case in the city, you will be able to buy coins and use the machines in the Game Corner. It’s the place in which you find the Team Rocket hideout.
After you’ve amassed some coins, you can purchase Porygon for 6,500 coins form the NPC behind the desk. There are some other Pokemon you can buy here, but Porygon is the one you’ll be looking at.
Of course, since the new games let you connect to other players and your own Pokemon Go account, you can get Porygon in other ways. You can either trade with another player, seeing them give you a Porygon in return for something else, or you can transfer a Porgyon from your Pokemon Go account on to Let’s Go.
