How to Get & Use RUSH in Onrush

Recommended Videos

Onrush might have more of a focus on objectives and teamwork than many other racing games, but it doesn’t forget that going very quickly is vital in the genre. Codemasters’ game is fast-paced as it is, with the almost constant use of the boost button, but you’re able to go even faster by activating your vehicle’s RUSH ability.

To activate RUSH, you need to fill up your RUSH meter, with it being the circular dial in the middle of the bottom part of the screen, just above your boost bar. It’ll fill up as you boost, with the percentage it is filled showing around the outside of it. Once it’s filled, it will light up and you’ll be prompted to press triangle or Y on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One respectively. You’ll then be boosted forward for 10 seconds or so, with your vehicle’s unique RUSH ability being started automatically. RUSH helps you get to the front of the pack in Countdown, or take out opposition drivers easily in any of the modes.

That’s all you need to know about the RUSH ability in Onrush. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
