How to Play PvP – Nioh
Nioh is Koei Tecmo’s new ‘Souls like’ game, and as such, you might be wondering if it has any kind of multiplayer or PvP system. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t currently have any kind of system for you to go head-to-head against live players.
The good news, however, is that Nioh will eventually be getting a PvP mode added in completely for free. There currently isn’t any kind of release window or how the mode will function within the main game, but we do know it’s on the way. Luckily, you have another option for duking it out with players, in the form of Revenants.
Whenever you die in Nioh, your spot will be marked with a grave site, and if you’re playing online you can see the grave sites of other players, as well. You can interact with these sites to fight computer-controlled version of that player’s character. It may not hold quite the thrill that fighting an actual player would, but it’s the second best thing. You can see more about why you should fight Revenants and the rewards you can get right here.
We’ll make sure to update this article as soon as we get a release date for the PvP mode and how to play it. Fore more help, tips, and guides on Nioh make sure to check back with Twinfinite, or take a look at our ever-expanding wiki.
