Ninja’s Stream Gear: His PC, Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, Monitor, & More
The PC of Ninja
If you want to stream like the hottest gamer on Twitch, you’ll have to get yourself the right gear (and personality, and ability to play video games). The first port of call is to assemble a PC that can handle the rigors of online gaming at an optimal rate. It doesn’t come cheap, obviously, but sometimes you’ve got to spend a little money to earn a little money. As per Ninja’s official partners NZXT, his custom-built PC is packed with high-end gear. What’s under the hood?

- INTEL CORE I7-8700K 3.7GHZ CPU
- NZXT KRAKEN X62 CPU COOLER

The cited price for this build will set you back around $4,038.83, but they also offer more affordable alternatives if you’re on a tighter budget.
The Keyboard of Ninja
Ninja is rolling with a Logitech RGB G810 Orion Spectrum keyboard. As you’d expect, it’s a keyboard that caters specifically towards gaming, and particular mention ought to be made of its Romer-G mechanical switches. These ultra-fast buttons boast a switch actuation point 25% shorter than standard mechanical switches, which is of crucial importance when a split-second delay can result in failure. They’re also durable, in case you’re the kind of frantic person who slams their digits against the keys in a fervor.
You can also customize every single key light from a range of nearly 17 million different colors. This isn’t just useful for aesthetic purposes (should you be fond of rainbows, for example), but can help you map out your spells and commands. Whatever hotkey you assign to the /dance command should have an appropriately funky color, after all.
Now that the G910 is doing the rounds, Orion Spectrums are starting to become harder to track down. There are still a few sellers on Amazon, though you may have to wait for the back-orders to arrive.
The Mouse of Ninja
Ninja’s mouse doesn’t just sound cool, it also handles well. The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, with precision being the key. You can switch between five DPI modes, ranging from 200 to 12,000 DPI. That’s a whole lotta dots.
It comes with five 3.6g weights that you can use to adjust the feel of different areas to suit your particular needs, 11 programmable buttons, and once again, millions upon millions of colors to light up with.
The G502 is custom built for Logitech gaming mousepads, but if you’ve got your own favorite brand, that’s fine, too – the optical sensor can be fine-tuned for responsiveness and precision appropriate to whatever playing surface it’s being used on.
Sound good? Check out the list of Amazon sellers and embrace the spectrum™. That’s not actually the tagline for the G502, but it sounds kinda nifty.
The Headset of Ninja
The right gaming headset doesn’t just give you an immersive atmosphere with acute sound quality that makes you feel like you’re really a part of the action, it’s also crucial if you want to look like a streamer. People will stop and stare as you walk down the street, nodding in approval and declaring in hushed whispers to one another that ‘that person there? They must be a famous streamer listening to some awesome gaming related program’. Fools! You’re actually listening to a podcast about crocheting. And it sounds amazing.
Ninja’s headset of choice is the Beyerdymanic DT 990 Premium 250 ohm HiFi. It is an open diffuse-field studio headphone with a lightweight diaphragm. It’s sturdy, but built with soft headband and ear cushioning that make it appropriate for longtime use. It has a coiled cable that comes out of a single side, ensuring that tangling is a thing of the past, and also giving your cat fewer things to claw at.
Head on over to Amazon to secure yours. Feel free to buy me a pair, too. I like to hear things.
The Monitor of Ninja
By now, you’ve got the computer, the headset, the mouse, the keyboard and the thousands of dollars worth of debt racked up on your credit card. But it won’t do any good if you can’t actually see anything that’s happening in-game (unless you’re just that good at PUBG, in which case, mad props to you), so you’ll have to procure a sweet monitor to complete the package. And you don’t just want any monitor. You want the monitor of Ninja.
That’s where the Alienware AW2518H comes into play. It has NVIDIA G-SYNC, which eliminates screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag. Its 240Hz native refresh rate and 1ms response time ensure that it moves just as fast as your lightning fingers.
You can even adjust the height of the screen, swivel and pivot it, if you’re so inclined. Most pro gamers don’t play on a monitor adjusted 12° akimbo, but you’re a trendsetter, dammit, and people will follow your lead.
So go forth, go stream, and don’t forget us here at Twinfinite when you’re playing Fortnite against celebrities. For the love of all that is holy, don’t let Roseanne beat you.
