NBA-2K23

Is NBA 2K23 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Will Xbox gamers be able to play the newest 2K basketball game as part of Xbox Game Pass?

NBA 2K23 has arrived, offering another helping of the basketball action that Visual Concepts has delivered since 1999. With previous games in the 2K franchise landing on Xbox’s subscription service, the question has arisen as to whether NBA 2K23 will be available on Xbox Game Pass. Let’s answer that question.

Is NBA 2K23 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

At this current point, no. NBA 2K23 is not currently available on Xbox Game Pass, meaning Xbox players will have to pay the full $60/$70 asking price if they want to play the game at launch. It’s also not available on Sony’s PlayStation Plus Extra service, either, meaning that a full-priced purchase is your only way to play the game as of right now.

It’s not all doom and gloom, though; previous entries in the franchise, such as NBA 2K21 and NBA 2K22, appeared on the service sometime after their respective releases. Generally, new 2K games land on the service in March, and exit in August when the next game is getting ready to go. If the pattern holds up, NBA 2K23 could join the Xbox Game Pass lineup at some point next year.
